First stop -- Vietnam

I've been to a couple of places when I was young. I've been to Beijing, to Guizhou, to Shenzhen, to Taipei, to Penang, to Kuala Lumpur, to New Zealand, and to I'm sure a couple more places which I can't remember where.

But I've decided to start this blog with the first place that I visited upon my graduation -- Vietnam.

I went to Vietnam with three of my other friends for our graduation trip. It's a 14 day arduous journey full of sweat (Vietnam was quite warm) and laughter.

I've decided to started this blog with Vietnam also because this was the first trip which was self funded. Hell I used up my savings for this trip, and although there was a day I vividly remembered the four of us nibbling on biscuits on the train because we had no money to buy real food, it was fun all the same.

Traveling is all about experiencing new things and I definitely did during those fourteen days when I was with my grad trip mates.

Below is a map of Vietnam:

And below is a rough guide of our trip from South to North:

So yep, the fearsome four basically covered the entire Vietnam from South to North within the span of 14 days. We traveled by airplanes, by trains, by taxis, by buses, by boats. Ate in restaurants, fast food chains, hawker stalls, roadside stalls and went to as low as biscuits to settle a meal when we were penniless.

Covering every detail would take forever, and the details are getting hazy by the day... So I'd just share as much as I can remember.
