I point and I shoot -- Introduction

This travelogue has been up for quite a while... without a post. Not because I've not been to places, but because I was simply too occupied with other things to start the ball rolling.

It's February 6, 2011, and it's the fourth day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. I am officially in the second cycle of my life (each cycle is 12 years according to the Chinese Calendar) and it's high time I begin the year with some new resolutions.

I work for an airline company, and working in an airline company provides some benefits which allow me to travel more intensively than my peers. This blog, is to capture some of those moments while I'm overseas so that when I look back, I can remember the places I visited and the things I did.

All the pictures posted on this blog are taken by my good ol' Olympus camera which was bought during the Electronics Fair a couple of years back. Many of my friends own DSLRs, snazzy cameras which can capture every pore on people's faces. It's heavy weight high performance stuff. Too serious for me.

This is a blog with pictures taken entirely by a "P and S" camera, which means "point and shoot" in general. No long hours of adjusting the lens for just the right amount of light or shutter speed. Just point -- and shoot.
